RUNES
Reconfigurable Ubiquitous Networked Embedded Systems

Dissemination Day

RUNES has developed an architecture and tools to facilitate the creation of large scale internetworked embedded systems. The approach has been validated by a combination of real deployment and simulation.

We would like to invite interested individuals to attend the Final Dissemination day of the project which is scheduled to take place on the 27th of July 2007 at Ericsson AB in Kista near Stockholm, Sweden. The programme includes a technology roadshow with a series of stands where delegates will have the opportunity to talk to the researchers and developers behind the RUNES technologies, a full demonstration of the 'fire in a road tunnel' scenario and a seminar for companies wishing to adopt the technologies developed in the project. We have also planned time for discussion and ideas exchange for follow-on projects in the field.

The event should be of interest to technologists, product managers, manufacturing managers, strategic planners and consultants working in sectors such healthcare, transport, utilities, industrial processes, security, oil & gas, food and agriculture, environmental. Other national and European projects in these fields are strongly encouraged to be represented and their involvement is welcomed.
